Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural networks for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, ML engineers, and domain experts
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Translate theoretical quantum algorithms into production-ready implementations
- Secure $2M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and top-tier AI conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or ML with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing optimization
- Track record of securing federal research funding
- Strong background in topological quantum error correction
- Experience with GPU-accelerated quantum simulations
