Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-AI hybrid architectures
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum Machine Learning)
- Secure federal and private research grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor integration
- Mentor PhD researchers and contribute to 2026 roadmap strategy
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms (QML, VQE, QAOA)
- Publication record in quantum/AI research (arXiv, IEEE Transactions)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU acceleration
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding ($1M+ preferred)
