Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-AI algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing models on D-Wave and IBM systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into commercial applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing open-source initiatives
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and frameworks
- Proven expertise in machine learning algorithms and high-performance computing
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure quantum services)
