Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models leveraging 100+ qubit processors
- Develop error-correction protocols for hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI applications for drug discovery and materials science
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-time anomaly detection in financial systems
- Author peer-reviewed research and secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory and AI ethics
- Secure $5M+ in federal grants for quantum-AI infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or AI research
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum simulation frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and low-level quantum control systems
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and fault-tolerant architectures
- Clearance for DoD quantum research projects (or ability to obtain)
