Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum-AI hybrid systems using IBM Quantum and D-Wave platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $5M+ in government and industry grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing and AI research methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Expertise in high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU acceleration
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental results
