Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise-scale applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and error-correction protocols
- Create quantum software development frameworks accessible to non-specialists
- Lead open-source quantum algorithm libraries with 1000+ developer community
- Secure multi-million dollar research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor quantum engineering fellows through our 2026 Quantum Academy
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry breakthroughs)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum complexity theory
- Expertise in Q#, Qiskit, or PennyLane with 5+ years quantum development experience
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of converting theoretical models to real-world quantum applications
- Experience securing government/industry quantum research funding
- Fluency in quantum circuit optimization and compiler design
