Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Research emerging quantum technologies (photonic, trapped-ion) for commercial applications
- Present quantum computing strategies to executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Secure patents for novel quantum circuit designs and methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with 5+ years experience considered)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Proven track record publishing in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design for optimization, cryptography, or machine learning
- Strong background in superconducting qubit manipulation and control systems
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
