What you'll achieve: Architect fault-tolerant quantum circuits, optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications, and lead cross-functional teams in quantum-adjacent domains like AI and cryptography.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures with error correction capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for finance and healthcare applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit connectivity and coherence
- Implement quantum security protocols for enterprise systems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonics)
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, QX Simulator)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Proven track record of leading technical initiatives in complex systems
