Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise-level applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Develop quantum security protocols and error mitigation strategies
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable technical specifications
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum standards and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proven experience designing quantum algorithms or quantum circuits
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with cloud-based quantum services (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Certification in quantum computing or advanced mathematics preferred
