Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise-level applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (superconducting qubits, photonic systems)
- Develop performance benchmarks and optimization strategies for quantum systems
- Collaborate with security teams to implement quantum-resistant encryption frameworks
- Present architectural blueprints to executive stakeholders and investors
- Stay current with quantum research breakthroughs through academic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance system design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant system design
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
