Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for practical commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization and simulation
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Drive quantum hardware-software integration for enterprise solutions
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum computing architectures or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit or topological quantum computing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
