Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead research into quantum error correction algorithms and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor-qubit connectivity
- Develop quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography applications
- Present technical roadmaps to C-suite executives and external partners
- Mentor junior quantum researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum system architecture
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
