Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving >99.9% qubit stability
- Research novel quantum materials and cooling systems for 2026-era hardware
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Present architectural blueprints to executive stakeholders and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or supercomputing design
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum development frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Portfolio demonstrating successful quantum system implementations
