Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving >99.99% fidelity
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for NISQ-era processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design quantum processor interconnects
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge quantum programming techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or quantum hardware
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum circuit optimization and compilation techniques
- Demonstrated experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Track record of securing $1M+ in quantum computing research grants
