Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for NISQ-era and fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise-scale solutions
- Lead research in quantum error correction and coherence optimization techniques
- Develop quantum software interfaces compatible with major quantum computing platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing tech stacks
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals and conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and contribute to technical roadmap planning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq) and classical languages (Python, C++)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware integration and calibration protocols
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
