As a Quantum Computing Architect, you'll design hybrid quantum-classical systems that outperform classical supercomputers. You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors in our state-of-the-art quantum lab overlooking the Bay Bridge.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Create hybrid algorithms combining quantum annealing with classical machine learning
- Lead quantum security audits for critical infrastructure systems
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in quantum programming languages
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy
- Experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave, etc.)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theory
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
