Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for machine learning and cryptography
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving >99.99% fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate cryogenic quantum processors
- Establish quantum security frameworks for enterprise systems
- Mentor quantum engineers in cutting-edge research methodologies
- Author patents and publish in Nature Physics/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Experience with superconducting and trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
