Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for industrial optimization problems
- Lead quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives with partner institutions
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Drive quantum simulation frameworks for molecular modeling and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at quantum conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Deep knowledge of quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum algorithms
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Expertise in high-performance computing architectures
- Ability to translate quantum concepts to business stakeholders
