Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Create quantum algorithms for machine learning and optimization problems
- Lead technical roadmaps for 2026 quantum computing milestones
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- 3+ years designing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
