Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization problems and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption systems
- Research and integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing models
- Document quantum system specifications and performance benchmarks
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum error correction research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research or industry implementation
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum)
