We're seeking a Quantum Computing Architect to design next-generation quantum systems that will revolutionize industries from pharmaceuticals to finance. You'll lead the development of scalable quantum processors and hybrid classical-quantum algorithms in our state-of-the-art Austin facility.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop error correction protocols and quantum optimization algorithms
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Create quantum software development frameworks for enterprise clients
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Present technical roadmaps to C-suite executives and industry partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and foster innovation culture
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum)
