Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Develop error mitigation protocols for quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Partner with quantum hardware manufacturers to co-design next-generation processors
- Translate business challenges into quantum computing solutions
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing libraries
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithm development
- Experience with quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency in cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Experience leading technical teams in R&D environments
