Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error correction protocols to maintain qubit coherence
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Collaborate with AI teams to optimize quantum machine learning algorithms
- Document system specifications and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum physics principles
- Conduct security audits for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture
- Proficiency in Q#, Cirq, or similar quantum programming languages
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms (IBM, Rigetti)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Proven ability to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
