Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Design error correction protocols for 100+ qubit processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure $10M+ in government and private research grants
- Partner with MIT and Caltech on quantum supremacy projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of leading quantum hardware integration projects
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Patents in quantum error correction or algorithm design
