Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations at scale
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum algorithm implementation
- Optimize quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows for enterprise applications
- Conduct research on quantum machine learning models for 2026-era data processing
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum communication security protocols
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (10+ years industry experience)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface codes, LDPC)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing breakthroughs
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, and Cirq quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Deep understanding of quantum annealing and variational algorithms
