Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 100+ qubit fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Implement quantum error correction protocols and quantum-safe encryption standards
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Contribute to quantum computing standards bodies and open-source initiatives
- Translate business requirements into quantum computational solutions
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development (Shor, Grover, VQE)
- Deep knowledge of superconducting qubits, ion traps, or photonic systems
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering or quantum control systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
