Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems for 2026-scale commercial deployment
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design qubit technologies with 99.9% fidelity targets
- Develop quantum error correction frameworks for million-qubit processors
- Create strategic roadmaps for quantum-classical hybrid computing ecosystems
- Secure $10M+ in research grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable prototypes
- Track record of securing research funding or commercial partnerships
