Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems by 2026
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen communication networks
- Mentor quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum-resistant cryptography standards
- Drive patent development for proprietary quantum error correction techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years hands-on quantum computing experience with superconducting/qubit systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE QCE)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in quantum research funding
