Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant system designs
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Create quantum security protocols for next-generation data encryption
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware limitations and optimization techniques
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Certification in quantum security protocols (QKD, QKD+) preferred
