Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to stabilize qubit operations at scale
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into functional quantum circuits
- Lead open-source quantum software initiatives and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical projects
