Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Collaborate with hardware teams to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Secure $2M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD researchers and interns in quantum computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Demonstrated success leading multi-million dollar research projects
- Experience with superconducting and trapped-ion quantum systems
