Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and machine learning engineers to develop error-corrected qubit systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to prototype quantum solutions for real-world applications
- Mentor junior researchers and establish patent portfolios for quantum computing innovations
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for next-generation AI models
- Secure government and private funding for advanced quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or equivalent quantum computing venues
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated experience leading R&D teams with multi-million dollar budgets
