Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization problems
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures with 100+ qubit stability
- Manage cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and engineers
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
- Develop quantum-cloud integration frameworks for enterprise clients
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Experience managing R&D teams of 10+ researchers
- Strong track record of securing government research grants
