Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing next-gen quantum error correction protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with hardware teams to push qubit coherence limits beyond 10ms
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Develop commercial applications for quantum supremacy in finance and logistics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum systems
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuits
- Track record of securing NSF or DARPA quantum research grants
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
