Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experiments on 50+ qubit systems to improve gate fidelity and error correction
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop next-generation quantum processors
- Publish high-impact research in leading journals and present at global conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure government/industry grants
- Develop proprietary quantum machine learning frameworks
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to solve real-world quantum computing challenges
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published papers in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware interfacing
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
