Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and top-tier conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and error correction
- Secure $5M+ in government grants and industry partnerships
- Develop patents protecting quantum IP portfolio with 95+ success rate
- Collaborate with NASA/DoE on quantum-resistant cryptography projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with <5 years post-doc experience
- Proven track record of publishing in QIS/quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction methodologies
