Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and testing quantum hardware interfaces
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into commercial quantum applications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Published research in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience with superconducting quantum systems or ion trap technologies
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams with non-technical stakeholders
