Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental research in qubit coherence and error correction methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to prototype quantum processors at 100+ qubit scale
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptography protocols for enterprise applications
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proven track record of quantum algorithm development and experimental validation
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Published research in quantum computing or top-tier scientific journals
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics preferred
