Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and materials science
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes using cryogenic systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at global conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Develop patentable quantum computing methodologies for 2026 commercial deployment
- Collaborate with industry partners to translate theoretical models into scalable solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects from conception to prototype
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
