Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, AI optimization, and molecular modeling
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes in cryogenic environments
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit coherence beyond 99.9% stability thresholds
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing ecosystems
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics principles and experimental methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or equivalent quantum computing publications
- Proficiency with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
