Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum circuit optimization techniques to enhance computational efficiency
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid systems

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and complex systems
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience in industry or academia
- Track record of publications in top-tier journals/conferences
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to secure research funding through grant writing
