Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop cryptographic protocols resistant to quantum attacks
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with AI and machine learning teams
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Secure $5M+ in federal research grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum computing
- Drive intellectual property portfolio expansion
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
- 3+ years quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent
- Expertise in quantum error correction techniques
- Strong background in Shor's/Grover's algorithms
- Clearance for DoD research projects (preferred)
