Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for error correction and optimization
- Lead experiments with superconducting and photonic qubit systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical models
- Publish research in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD researchers and patent 3+ quantum innovations annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum gate operations
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulators
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
