Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems targeting 2026 industrial applications
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects bridging quantum theory and practical implementation
- Secure external funding through NSF and DoE grants
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Experience with quantum hardware integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and communication skills
