Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum processors
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical partners to simulate molecular interactions for drug discovery
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at conferences like APS March Meeting
- Optimize quantum circuits for real-world deployment in finance and logistics
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
