Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols using 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for predictive modeling
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $1M+ in government/private grants for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead cross-functional quantum engineering teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and error correction protocols
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Track record of securing competitive research grants
