Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and computational fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum processor architectures and performance benchmarks
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for quantum innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Strong background in quantum information theory, quantum algorithms, and quantum error correction
- Experience with quantum simulation tools (QASM, Qutip) and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical projects and deliver results
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex quantum concepts for diverse stakeholders
