Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead quantum error correction research to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Develop quantum hardware-software interfaces to bridge theoretical models with practical implementations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify commercial applications for quantum technologies
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for quantum innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware research
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum information theory
- Publication record in quantum computing or high-energy physics
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics preferred
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
