Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead experimental research on superconducting qubit architectures
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical partners on quantum drug discovery
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DARPA grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Python/C++ and quantum SDKs (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence
- Strong background in linear algebra and Hilbert spaces
- Track record of securing federal research grants
