Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims on 100+ qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols enabling fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Publish top-tier research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers and secure $5M+ in NSF/DARPA grants
- Partner with Google Quantum AI and IBM Quantum teams on open-source initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Expertise in quantum hardware (superconducting, trapped ion, or photonic systems)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complexity theory
